Life · Western Styria · since 1998
The screen stayed black. No one came.
Seven years old. SUSE Linux. A system that gives nothing away — and a child that does not stop until it runs.
Some people get a teacher. I got a machine.
No course. No uncle who “shows you once”. A child in western Styria and a computer that boots if you understand it — and stays silent if you do not. I read. Took it apart. Put it back together. And blamed no one.
That is the whole trick, and it is unspectacular. Anyone who first asks whose fault a problem is is not looking for a solution, they are looking for relief. Anyone who first asks what is actually happening gets further. I did not learn that because it sounded clever. I learned it because otherwise nothing would have happened.
Brick was already dead. Lee was in the house. The dog school lay in the cradle; the machines came after. Wolfgang could do anything if you showed him once — except the computer, which he never touched. My father’s driving licences became certificates in me. Genetics? Presumably. Lived practice at the very least.
2003 to 2005, still in training: homepages. All self-taught. The word autodidact came later. The work came at once.
A maker. A finisher: if you start something, you see it through. That sentence runs through every chapter on this page.

Sweden, 2006
The hobby became a job. Loud, fast, a long way from Ligist: managing several eSports teams and their EPS servers — Electronic Pro Series, above all Counter-Strike. As manager at Dreamhack in Sweden.
A child who had taken systems apart suddenly stood in a hall full of machines that were supposed to let other people win. That is not a CV. That is the moment a game stops being a game — and the moment you first notice that responsibility does not hang on ability, but on who is looking when it tips over.
There I learned what I now ask first in coaching: who carries the consequence if this goes wrong? If the answer is “we will sort that out later”, the thing has already gone wrong.
Cable, 2006 to 2009
Then the quieter work. First self-employed jobs for smaller clients, acquaintances, family. Networks. SIP trunks. Things that have to hold, because otherwise someone you meet for Sunday lunch cannot make a phone call.
Plus the entrepreneur’s licence, the Cambridge Certificate, business studies, accounts and tax. None of it was compulsory. All of it was the answer to the same question: what am I missing in order to do this myself?
2009 the school-leaving exam — and at once two lives side by side: employment and self-employment. The move into working life was not a cut. It was a rope you hold at both ends, or it snaps.
That was not an accident at work. In 2022 the same pattern returns. Anyone who chooses both has to take the question why. Safety? Co-dependency? Or what is ordinary in nature — community, learning from one another, no pack of one? I do not claim any of the three answers here. I do not dodge them either.
Why does someone choose both, twice over, when one would be enough?
Certificates, 2009 to 2011
The portfolio filled with vendor-recognised certificates: Cisco, Juniper, Apple, Microsoft and others. More than 180 in all. Among them Apple Certified Trainer for macOS — Support Professional, Technical Coordinator, Mac Integration Basics — and Final Cut Pro, film editing at studio level.
A list of certificates proves little. What it shows is a pattern: none of it was given to me, and nobody applied for any of it on my behalf. Every single one is the consequence of the same question from 1998 — what am I missing in order to do this myself.
The same years hold editing work and consulting for the World Cup in South Africa, and the Apple training in London, Cork, Cupertino and Amsterdam. The world pulled. It pulled hard.
Ask me what Cupertino was — and what was missing afterwards.
The centre, 2012
Founding of the first Styrian Apple Certified Training Center. macolution became m:academy. Territorial protection for Austria excluding Vienna and Lower Austria, for Hungary, Slovenia, southern Italy and parts of German-speaking Switzerland.
Then seven years of teaching and consulting. Rooms where something has to still stand when you leave — that is the difference between training and a talk. A talk is over when it is over. A training is only over when someone carries on without you.
The clients of those years included Anton Paar, KNAPP AG, Infonova (today BearingPoint), Red Bull GmbH with third-party support on the rollout and Mac training for internal staff, LinkedIn (formerly video2brain), Amazon Austria, Netconomy, sVersicherung, WGKK, SALK, KAGes, the US Air Force as well as LearnQuest and several universities.
Further international clients remain unnamed. Data protection, not secrecy for its own sake.

June 2017
Altheia “Ylvi” Wolfrevir, from Maria Vogt. A Czechoslovakian Wolfdog female with temperament and a handling you cannot buy. Trainings. Austrian Junior Champion. FCI and ÖKV breeding approval. Film-dog training, BH and BGH courses and tests.
2019 the building of the kennel vom alten Wolfsblut: breeder seminars, genetics, character breeding. In the same year Ylvi was poisoned.
A poisoned bait is not a metaphor. It lies there until a mouth takes it. After that the work is a different work. Late 2019, early 2020: recovery. It stands here because it is true — not because it sounds good.
What do you do when the first female is poisoned?
The split, 2020
Separation from the business partner. Gradual winding-up of m:academy into successor firms — among them Lunar Lupus e.U. with all its branches. A complete rebrand under that roof.
A split is not a turning point you plan. It is the moment it becomes clear which parts carry and which were only coming along. What stands afterwards stands on fewer legs — but on its own.
2020 to 2021 selected productions abroad for renowned studios. With the pandemic a noticeable shift to Latin America, because of looser rules on air travel and on set. The world pulled again. This time with a dog that was still healing.
Late 2021 came Jera Luna dei Serlupi, Italian line. Healthy, energetic, working drive toward the lower end. Countless hours of socialisation and training — hours nobody sees and that appear in no ledger.
What stands here is not the success story. It is the list of the places where it was nearly over.
And then onward
In 2021 Lunar Lupus e.U. was woken up and put on a clear legal footing. 2022 brought the consistent switch to purely electric mobility — to the animals, to shows, to training, to the set. Without exception, without a second car.
In the same year both at once again: self-employment and employment. Leading in 1st- and 2nd-level support, building up and coaching apprentices and colleagues who learn more slowly, de-escalation. Plus a supportive relationship — quality time, a calendar that has to be led, because hours are finite.
Everything that stands under the roof today grew out of that order: the film wolves, the breeding, the consulting, the coaching, the IT. None of it was a business plan. All of it was the answer to the same question.
The questions that stay open are on the home page. The generation before is on the page about Heritage.
That was the short version.
The long one exists in conversation. Write and tell me what interests you — the years, the breaks, or what has become of it today.
