I sit beside you and say what I see.
You build. I do not take the work off your hands. That is the difference from an agency — and the reason this site is called .dev.
Who this is for
For people putting up something of their own: a first company, a product, a team whose name does not yet carry. You need someone who has built before — networks and SIP trunks that have run for family for years, an Apple Certified Training Center with territorial protection, a kennel under FCI and ÖKV rules, a film brand and an IT brand that keeps the circle small.
You do not need someone to take the work off your hands. Here it gets built — by you. What I contribute is the view from outside and the willingness to say it out loud, even when it does not suit you at that moment.
And you do not need me for everything. If your problem is a craft problem you can solve yourself, I will tell you that in the first conversation. It costs me a contract and saves you months.
This site is not the fifth agency. It is the place where it is explained why the other four exist.
The line
I am a hardliner. That is not a label, it is a description of what happens when you work with me: there is a line, it is known in advance, and it does not move because someone looks unhappy.
I am allergic to stupidity and to kindergarten behaviour in grown adults. Not to not knowing — not knowing is the normal state everyone starts from, myself included. What I am allergic to is clinging to it after the answer turned out to be wrong.
Assertions get undercut with facts. Anyone who claims something here gets no counter-claim, but the number, the source or the device you can go and check. That holds in both directions: disprove me that way and I have learned something — and I will say so.
If something does not exist, it gets made. A kennel, a film brand and an IT brand grew out of that sentence. It sounds like a motivational poster and is in truth the most uncomfortable line on this site — because it deletes the excuse “it does not exist” without replacement.
Sarcasm, cynicism and messages hidden between the lines are a no-go. Anyone who speaks between the lines because they cannot bear the line itself is in the wrong place — and hears that in the first conversation, not the third.
You do not need someone to take the work off your hands. You need someone who will not lie to you when it is bad.
How it runs
You write. What you are building, where it is stuck, what you expect. Three sentences are enough. No form, no needs analysis, no funnel.
We talk. Honesty from the first sentence, in both directions. If I think someone else would help you more, I say so — and who.
You keep building. I sit beside you and say what I see. In ordinary days, not in a seminar room. The work stays with you, otherwise what ends up standing there is not yours.
No whiteboard that softens the truth. No model out of a book that your problem gets bent into until it fits. What happens here is slower than a workshop and lasts longer.

Where the method comes from
The schooling comes from my father. Wolfgang could do anything if you showed him once — except the computer, which he never touched. His driving licences became certificates in me. Autodidact. Maker. Finisher. This is not a method out of a book, this is lived practice. Family.
From 2022 I practised exactly that in employment while the self-employment carried on: leading in 1st- and 2nd-level support, building up and coaching apprentices and colleagues who learn more slowly, de-escalation. In the same year a supportive relationship — quality time, a calendar that has to be led, because hours are finite.
Plus the qualifications that carry the same hand: Final Cut Pro Trainer for film editing at studio level, and the trainer qualifications for IT matters — Support Professional, Technical Coordinator, Mac Integration Basics.
The word alpha wolf marks nobody here, incidentally. It is outdated. In a wolf pack the females steer, the big male carries it out. Anyone who wants to lead should be able to live with that.
What are you building — and what are you letting someone take off your hands although you ought to be able to do it yourself?
What you bring, what you do not get
Bring: something of your own that you are genuinely building. Honesty, even when it makes you look bad. The willingness to take the uncomfortable route. And time — hours are finite, my calendar is led.
Not on offer: code for third parties or an MVP contract. Reassurance. A whiteboard that softens the truth. A method out of a book.
In 2027 we will expand coaching and consulting further, online and offline. That is a horizon, not a catalogue — and as long as there is no booking offer, none is stated here.
If you want to read the whole sequence: the story. If you want to know where the stance comes from: Heritage.
When the story lands, the conversation lands too.
Write and tell me what you are building and where it is stuck. Three sentences are enough.
You will get an honest answer — including the one that says you do not need me for this. That is not a sales tactic. That is the condition.
