Chapter I
A life
I am not selling a service here. I am introducing who I have become — and you decide afterwards whether you want to work with someone like that.
Daniel Angerer. Raised in western Styria. Entrepreneur, consultant, dog breeder and trainer. Owner of Lunar Lupus e.U. in Ligist. President of the Austrian Wolfdog Club. Breed representative for the Czechoslovakian Wolfdog in Austria.
Direct. Hard. Unsparingly honest — with understanding, without reassurance. Sarcasm, cynicism and messages hidden between the lines are a no-go here. Honesty is assumed. In both directions.
The international work always pulled. I stayed here: a proud Austrian, a proud Styrian. Ligist, and not because the world was too small.
More than 180 certificates. And Ligist all the same. That is not modesty, it is a decision — and it comes back in the fourth chapter.
I am a hardliner. That is not a label I hang on myself, it is a description of what happens when you work with me: there is a line, it is known in advance, and it does not move because someone looks unhappy.
I am allergic to stupidity and to kindergarten behaviour in grown adults. Not to not knowing — not knowing is the normal state everyone starts from, myself included. What I am allergic to is clinging to it after the answer turned out to be wrong.
Assertions get undercut with facts. Anyone who claims something here gets no counter-claim, but the number, the source or the device you can go and check. That holds in both directions: disprove me that way and I have learned something — and I will say so.
If something does not exist, it gets made. A kennel, a film brand and an IT brand grew out of that sentence. It sounds like a motivational poster and is in truth the most uncomfortable line on this site — because it deletes the excuse “it does not exist” without replacement.
That is exactly how I go into coaching. That is exactly how the qualifications came about: from Final Cut Pro Trainer for film editing at studio level to the trainer qualifications for IT matters — Support Professional, Technical Coordinator, Mac Integration Basics.

Why does someone stay who could have stayed anywhere?
Chapter II
The cradle
Before there was Lunar Lupus there was Brick. Then Lee. And Wolfgang. Nobody ever invoiced the dog school.
First Brick. German Shepherd. SchH3. Avalanche dog. Rubble search dog. On duty in Armenia in 1988, at the great earthquake. Honours. Search-and-rescue brigade. He lived until the middle or end of 1991 — the year I was born.
Two years of gap. Then Lee vom Altsteirerhof, 1993 to 2002, also SchH3. I was two when Lee moved in.
Wolfgang: a doer, a teacher, a strict father with understanding for individual development — provided every duty in the house was met. Self-teaching laid in the cradle. An exceptional talent with cars and with dogs. Anything, if you showed him once. Never once touched a computer.

Chapter III
1998
Seven years old. One computer. SUSE Linux.
No course. No uncle who “shows you once”. A child in western Styria and a system that gives nothing away. Anyone who starts like that learns early: building means reading, taking apart, putting back together — and blaming nobody when it will not start.
A maker. A finisher: if you start, you see it through.
My father’s driving licences became certificates in me. The will to learn what is new stayed. Genetics? Presumably. Family at the very least, lived practice. The remaining years are in the story.
This chapter deliberately has no picture. There is no photograph of a child repairing a partition table at two in the morning.
Chapter IV
The Ring, 1984
The circuit where Wolfgang handled service dogs was already behind him when I was born: Österreichring, 1984.
Securing a major event means nobody notices you were there. That is a stance that is hard to explain and easy to recognise — and one I later found again in every project that went well.
Chapter V
The pack
Out of the cradle came a kennel, out of the kennel a film brand, out of the film brand a company with five doors.
The word alpha wolf marks nobody here. It is outdated. In a wolf pack the females steer. The big male carries it out. Anyone who wants to lead should be able to live with that.

This is about something else: about young people putting up something of their own. And about the stories you need before you do that.
This site is not the fifth agency. It is the place where it is explained why the other four exist.
Chapter VI
What it cost
Nowhere does it say what a life like this costs. So it stands here.
Brick died the year I was born. The schooling that shaped me I never experienced myself. I got it through Wolfgang, second hand, with everything that entails.
The first female was poisoned. That is a sentence of five words. Ask me how long it took until it was only five words.
One female stayed empty twice. I carried on. Not out of stubbornness — out of the calculation that stopping would have cost more than going on.
Ligist instead of Cupertino. More than 180 certificates and an address with house number 137. Every year the chance to leave, and every year the decision to stay. A decision you make once is cheap. This one is paid for annually.
And then you get back up. Setbacks are not a punchline here, they are the normal case: a poisoned female, two empty heats, cancelled projects, brands that only carried on the second attempt. What came out of that is not hardness towards other people — it is getting used to the floor being gone sometimes, and to laying it back in yourself.
I am not telling you this so that you feel sorry. I am telling you so that you know where the calm comes from when something tips over on your side.

In the same year a supportive relationship — quality time, a calendar that has to be led, because hours are finite.
This is not a method out of a book. This is lived practice.
